Chokma is a Chickasaw word meaning 'good'. I am a student of the Buddhadharma living in a small community in middle Tennessee. The land we occupy was ceded by the Chickasaw tribe in 1816.

Kyema! Because now the sun of the teachings is sinking in the west, Powerful people in processions headed by horses, Ornamented with all kinds of magnificent vestments, And wearing all the wonders of the world as shoulder ornaments, While sitting on noble thrones on strong horses, Criticize those who walk on the path of ripening and liberation,Because those with stainless knowledge of the secret tantras, Who have utterly renounced all worldly madness, sleep in beds of rags.
